A Sweet New Address!

I want to give you guys a quick recap of what’s been going on in my life the past two weeks. I recently opened up my wings/bank account and decided to take a leap of faith and move to a city about 45 minutes away from my hometown, called Cornelius, North Carolina. So far, so good! Working from home gives me the flexibility to move wherever I want to with a banging wifi connection, so you best believe I was going to a place where the green grass grows and there’s a Starbucks on every corner.

I absolutely am a country girl at heart, and I knew I couldn’t move too far away from my little town of Hickory, North Carolina. I’ve found in my short two weeks of living in Cornelius that I honestly get the best of both worlds. I live right beside Lake Norman (LKN) and it’s like having my own little piece of paradise. I’ve recently picked up the hobby of fishing from my dad, and I’m hoping to catch a big ‘ol catfish before the end of summer. Side note, my neighbor and I are in a competition – He caught a 3-foot catfish by the fishing pier last week, and I told him that was no match for me and my pink fishing pole :-). I know you’re on the edge of your seat over this guys, so ya better STAY TUNED!

I also love the fact that I’m only a 15-minute drive from the beautiful city of Charlotte, NC. I’m still learning the area, but I am SO excited to try out new restaurants and of course, shopping! If you’re from the Charlotte area I would love to hear your thoughts on the must see places and local spots!
